Halloween 2025 - What We Know so Far - Part 1 The South

Every year we try to bring a series of blog posts with everything that has been announced for this year's Halloween season in the UK, and this year is no exception. Like with previous years, this year the blogs will be split into 4 covering Halloween Events in the South, the Midlands, the North and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. There’s a lot to get through so shall we get part 1 started. (Last Updated: 19/08/2025 )

South West
Fear at Avon Valley have confirmed a lot of things about this years event. Returning attractions include Malefica, X4, Vita Nova, The Core and The Exorcism (which was confirmed to be leaving the scream park at the end of last year, so change of heart was had. Their is one new experience and one new attraction coming for 2925. The experience is called Lock N Load, which is an interactive shooting experience. The new attractions is called Seeds Of Evil. The event will run on the 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st October. 1st November. Tickets start from £26.99. Watermouth Castle have confirmed that Descend Into Darkness will return for 2025. There will be two new scare zones in Bad Barnyard and The Z Factor as well as returning zones in Cursed Forest, The Haunted Castle and Carnival of Clowns. The event will run for 10 nights on the 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 30th, 31st October and 1st November. Tickets start from £24.00 for early bird. Mary Shelley's House of Frankenstein is back with After Dark - Parasomnia. The event will run for 9 nights on 18th, 19th, 24th, 25th, 26th, 29th, 30th, 31st October and 1st November. Tickets start from £20.00. For extra fun, why not book their escape room as any escape room tickets booked after 5:30pm will include entry into After Dark. Salvation-Z look set to return for one last hurrah this October with more mazes and much more. The event will run for 6 nights on the 17th, 18th, 24th, 25th, 31st October and 1st November. Tickets go on sale in August. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Salvation-Z website.
Hyams Haunted House returns to Warsash near Southampton with Nightmares: Darkness Within. It is a charity home haunt attraction in support of Waypoint Hub Food Bank. The event will run for 2 nights on the 25th and 31st October. For more information, you can visit the Hyams Haunted House website.
Park of the Dead have updated their website to say that they will be back in Autumn with Rebirth. That is currently all we know. For more information you can visit the Park of the Dead website.
Funland Hayling Island returns with their Funland Fright Nights event. The event will run for just 2 nights on the 25th and 31st October. It looks like there 4 scare attractions in Destination Z, Freakland Amusements, Black Out! and Theatre of Screams, though it is unknown if the latter 3 are scare mazes. Dartmoor Zoo returns with Night of the Dead. The event is a zombie survival experience and will run for 2 nights on the 24th and 25th October. Tickets start from £30.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Dartmoor Zoo website.
London and South East
Tulleys Shocktoberfest in Crawley returns for 2025 with what currently looks like the same line up as last year with all mazes and attractions returning. The event will run for a whopping 24 nights through October from the 3rd October until the 1st November. Fort Amherst Halloween Horrors have confirmed they will be returning for 2025. There is currently no other information about this years event. For more information and to book tickets when they become available you can visit the Fort Amherst Halloween Horrors website.
Fright Nights at Thorpe park returns for 24 nights throughout October and the beginning of November starting on the 3rd. The attraction line up for this year looks set to be very similar to last year with all 4 scare mazes returning in Deadbeat, Trailers, Stitches and Survival Games. Lucifer's Lair and The Crows of Mawkin Manor are both returning with a new scare zone to be revealed soon. Tickets start from £36.00 for just theme park entry and £70 for theme park and scare maze entry. The Hunting Grounds is a new attraction coming to London this Halloween by Cursed Crypt Events. The attraction will run for 10 nights from the 24th October. Tickets start from £41.92. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Cursed Crypt Events website.
East Anglia
Halloween Haunt Fest is a new event for 2025 coming to the Hertfordshire County Showground in St Albans. The event will have 4 attractions in E.D.E.N, The Trials of Jane Wenham, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and one yet to be announced. Primevil returns in 2025 and celebrates its sweet 16th. The event is teasing 1 brand new haunt and three reimaginings for its 2025 event. The website has the same attractions listed as 2024, so we don't currently believe this is the correct line up for their 2025 event. The event will run for 14 nights between the 16th October and 1st November. Tickets start from £32.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Primevil website.
The Howl will be returning in 2025 with one new attraction in its roster. Red, Squealer's Yard, Howl Valley High, Full Moon Manor, The Shed and Noxious Alley will all be returning. The event will run for 13 nights between the 10th October and 1st November. Tickets start from £29.95 on the current early bird. Horror at Hinchingbrooke House have confirmed that they will be returning in 2025. The event will run from 25th October - 1st November. Like with every year, there will be a brand new maze with new zones. Tickets start from £26.95 (+ booking fee). Colchester Zoo's Trail of Terror returns in 2025. The event will run for 7 nights between 17th and 31st October. There is currently no other information available. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Colchester Zoo website.
The Bunker Below in Brentwood have announced they are returning for 2025. The event will run for 12 nights from Friday 17th October. Tickets start from £29.50. For more information and to book tickets when they go live you can visit The Bunker Below website.
Scaresville have updated their website to confirm they will run for 17 nights from the 15th October until the 1st November. Tickets start from £31. 87. More information and to book tickets you can visit the Scaresville website.
Fairground Frights at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach returns for 6 nights this October. The event will run from the 25th October until the 31st October (Excluding Monday 27th). Tickets start from £26.50. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Fairground Frights website.
A new event called The Fear is coming to Colchester. This charity event will have 1 horror maze plus other activities. It will only run for 1 night on the 26th October and only if they get enough people pre registered for tickets and sponsored run throughs. For more information you can visit The Fear Eventbrite page.
Trinity Scares in Ipswich is set to return for 2025. the event will rung between the 17th and 31st October. The event will have 3 scare mazes included in the price and an optional extra called The Cave. The scare mazes are The Nightmare, The Haunting and The Cursed.
