Halloween 2022 - What We Know So Far - Part 2 - The Midlands

East Midlands


Dr Frights Halloween Nights near Northampton have already announced the overall theme for this years event as Horrorworld. Described as "an amusement park full of their wildest horror mazes yet" have revealed their attractions as House of Wax, Monsters & Madmen, Grindhouse in Wonderland and Killer Clowns of the Caribbean. The event will run between 14th and 31st October. Early bird tickets are currently available at £21.95 (plus £0.95 booking fee). Xtreme Scream Park in Melton Mowbray haven't revealed much about this years event other than their dates. The event will run for a whopping 16 nights through October from Wednesday 5th. Notts Maze in Nottingham will be returning in 2022 with The Labyrinth and both Cornevil and The Village from 2021 will be returning. This year the event will run for only 9 nights from the 14th October. Tickets are £17.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Notts Maze The Labyrinth website.


Whatton House of Horrors returns in 2022 with new for 2022 Witchfinder Fear The Woods. This years event will feature two trails in Fear the Woods and Torturer's Apprentice. Tickets are not yet on sale and we have no dates yet either. We are sure more information and tickets will become available on the Whatton House of Horrors website.


The Sessions House of Horrors has announced its return for 2022. Located in Spalding the event will run for 4 nights from 27th - 30th October. They have said this years event will feature a new story, a new route and a new room. For more information and to book tickets you can visit The Sessions House of Horrors website.


Fantasy Island in Skegness have announced the line up for this years Fear island. The event features 3 adult scare mazes in Blood Bunker, Scream Asylum and Villa Voodoo, 1 child's scare maze in Spook Hunters, The Pirates of Fear Island show and Millennium Darkness, a blindfolded ride on their coaster. Scare maze tickets are available from £15 and full theme park and scare attractions ticket is 328. Please note that Millennium Darkness is only included with the full theme park ticket. The scare attractions will be open from 1pm until 6pm. The event will run 15th - 16th, 19th - 23rd and 26th - 30th October. For more information you can visit the Fear Island website.


The National Justice Museum in Nottingham will once again hold the over 18s Halloween event Condemned, a darker version of their tour that delves in the chilling and horrible histories of the Gaol. The event will run for 5 nights on the 22nd, 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st October. Tickets are £15.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the National Justice Museum website.


West Midlands


Walsall Scare Maze have confirmed the name of this year’s main attraction as The Scarehouse. As well as this the event will also have a new scare experience opening this year. The event will run for 18 nights through October and November from Saturday 1st October - Saturday 5th November. Tickets are on sale now and start from £17.50 (Plus £1.50 booking fee). Solihull is to welcome a new for 2022 event in Forbidden Circus. Described as "Solihulls first ever immersive horror attraction" the event will run for 7 nights between the 24thy and 30th October at Tudor Grange Park. Thats all the information we currently have but we are sure more details will become available on the Forbidden Circus website.


Alton Towers have confirmed that Scarefest will be celebrating its 15th birthday this year. The theme park has already confirmed that 3 scare mazes will be return with Darkest Depths, The Attic and Altonville Mine Tours all returning, as well as a brand new scare maze/experience for this year. The event will run 7th - 9th and 14th - 31st October. You will need a theme park ticket (starting at £38) and a scare maze combi ticket (at £32 or £25.60 for pass holders) to experience the attractions the park has to offer. Screamfest in Burton Upon Trent website says that it will be back for the 2022 Halloween season. Returning after a year's Hiatus, Insomnia will be back. This will be joined by the return of Creed Farm, Hillbilly Joes Zombee Zoo, Freakout on Tour and Love Hurts, which has been confirmed to be its last year. The event will run for 14 nights from 8th October and tickets start from £22.00 (or £14.00 for the scaredy cats). For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Screamfest website.


Warwick Castle's After Dark event will be returning this October. The event will run 22nd, 23rd, 28th - 31st October 2022. Tickets will start at £20. Stourbridge Scare Maze have announced their dates for 2022. The event will run for 13 nights from 13th - 16th, 20th - 23rd and 27th - 31st October. Satans Slammer have announced their return with Devilution. Tickets start from £24.58 They will become available on the Satans Slammer website.


A new event for 2022, Alderford Lake will play host to Nightmare Island. The event will run from the 12th - 31st October. Tickets start from £25.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Nightmare Island website.
