NORTH EAST
Psycho Path, located at Lintz Hall Farm, have announced that they will be adding two new attractions for 2022 in Cutthroat Island and Thunder Dome. These join returning attractions Psycho City, Isolation, I-Scream and Cornered. There will also be the return of Anarchy Arcade and Fear Ground (their fair ground). The event will run on selected nights from 30th September until 31st October. Tickets start from £21.00 (early bird special + booking fee). Doncaster Fear Factory were one of the first events to confirm that they were returning in 2022. Y.A.N.A Gate and Chasm will be returning this year and will be joined by The Legend of Crackle Hill and The Pogo Club. The event will run for 11 nights throughout October from Friday 7th. Scream Factory returns to Redcar with its linear style scare event. They have also announced that they will be getting a Stranger Things inspired zone. The event will run for 14 nights throughout October from Friday 7th October. Tickets start from £20.00 (Plus a £1.00 booking fee). Hallowscream at York Maze have confirmed their dates for this year. The event will run 13th - 16th, 19th - 23rd, 25th - 31st October and 4th - 5th November. Yorkshire Scare Grounds near Wakefield have announced 5 new scare attractions and 2 returning scare zones for their 2022 line up. Whitechapel, They/them, Twisted Tooth Fairy, Dollhouse and Human Safari. The 2 returning scare zones are Dead Central and Forest of Freaks Showman's Rest. Skare UK is a new event coming to Leeds this year. Little is currently known about this new event except that their website says that visitors will experience three unique sites. When more information becomes available we will update this but you can visit the Skare UK website for updates.
The charity event Leeds Scare Trails returns in 2022 at Golden Acre Park with their Frightmare Trail. The event will run on Saturday 29th October and tickets start from £7.00. For more information and to book tickets when they become available you can visit the Leeds Scare Trails website.
Another charity event, Scare Zone Northallerton returns bigger than ever for 2022. The event will run for 2 nights on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st October. This years sees the addition of a full, single themed maze as well as their usual scare zone. Tickets start from £6.00. NORTH WEST
Blackpool Pleasure Beach are once again celebrating Halloween with their Journey to Hell Freak Nights event. This years event has an entirely new line up of rides and attractions. The event will start with the Gate Keeper who will play host before sending you on your journey. The line up includes Impossible Freak House, Rising Ghost Train, The Legend of the Cursed River Caves, Hell Tunnel, The Sirens of Infusion, The Controllers, Pleasure Beach Hexpress and The Lost. This event will run on the 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th and 30th of October. Tickets are £39.00. Park N Party announced they are going big this year. Located at the old Camelot theme park near Chorley they will be opening up the worlds longest outdoor horror attraction called Scare City. The 2km walk will venture through 12 zones. these will be Swizzles Blood Curdling Camelot Castle, The Resurrection Zone, The Whirlwind Woods, The Forest of Fears, Satanic Panic, The Crypt of Camelot, Exteme Scream Go, Medieval Murder Zone, Knightmare Alley, Scare Village, Share If You Dare and Carni Valley. Farmaggedon returns with what appears to be a largely unchanged line up. Contagion, The Meat Locker, Maze of Death, The Beast of Terror, House of Rock, The Freak Street roaming actors, Scary-oke and Fear-go-round will all be returning. Zombie Outlaw looks to have been renamed to Zombie Annihilation. The event will run for 15 nights throughout October from the 7th. Tickets start from £21.50. Scare Kingdom Scream Park have announced their full line up for this years event. This year they will have 5 scare mazes in The Paradise Foundation: Glitch, Manormortis: House of Tarot, Gothica, Body Snatchers: The Butcher in the Basement and Zozo's Grindhouse: Devil's Night and 1 additional charge scare experience in Enigma. The event will run for 19 nights throughout October and the beginning of November from the 1st October. Tickets start from £20.00 (£2.00 booking fee applies) and £11 for Enigma for two people. Farm of Terror is set to return to Bacup this October for 8 nights. The event this year will feature the Devil's Den and Apocalypse, both of which will feature smaller sub sections within as well as a new 4d VR experience. Spooky World in Warrington have announced they will be returning in 2022 on both their website and social media but that is all we currently know. We don' know the confirmed line up of attractions or dates or prices, but we are sure they will update the Spooky World website with all the information.
Fear Factory Live will have two attractions this year in Hush Net and Brown Bread. The event has also confirmed that they will be at a new location in Darwen called The Bakehouse. Scream Fields Fear Park have announced Safe Passage, a new scare attraction coming to Preston. Safe Passage will have 6 live horror scare rooms called The Doll Room, The Chaple, Ritual, Basement, Toybox and The Watch.
