Halloween 2023 - What We Know So Far - Part 2 - The Midlands

East Midlands


Dr Frights Halloween Nights announced that their event would be shaken up in 2023. Instead of smaller mazes they usually do they have decided to create one long attraction in Route 666. So far announced for the route are Deadwood Forest, Downtown Hell A and The Grindhouse. The event will run for 15 nights throughout October. Tickets aren’t on sale yet. Xtreme Scream Park have announced their dates for 2023. The event will run for 15 nights throughout October. Tickets start £29.25. So far announced is The Warehouse of Weird. Little is currently known about the rest of the official line up other than Hoodoo Voodoo will not be reurning. . When we know more we will update. Notts Maze in Nottingham looks set to return in 2023 with The Labyrinth and it looks like Cornevil returns but as Dead Silent this year. The Event will run for just four nights on the 28th, 29th, 30th and 31st October. Tickets start from £20.00. Fantasy Island in Skegness have announced the line up for this years Fear island. The event features 3 adult scare mazes in The Ravenous, The Outpost and Psycho Mansion, 1 child's scare maze in Ghostly Tales in the Crypt, Captain Jack’s Live Show: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Toucan Tours – The Temple of Gloom, an entertaining monorail ride. Scare maze tickets are available from £20 and full theme park and scare attractions ticket is £39.50. The scare attractions will be open from 1pm until 6pm. The Sessions House of Horrors in Spalding has confirmed that they will be returning in 2023 with The Séance, an intimate, immersive scare experience. It will run for 7 nights from the 26th October till the 31st October. Tickets aren’t yet on sale. Doom Town: A Mannequin Mystery will be coming to Lincolnshire’s Mannakin Hall this October. This immersive spooky mystery event will run for just two nights on the 20th and 21st October. The National Justice Museum in Nottingham will play host to Condemned: A Halloween Special 18+ event. The event will run for 5 nights on 21st, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th October. Tickets start from £15. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Condemned website.


West Midlands


Walsall Scare Maze have confirmed The Scarehouse will be returning in 2023 but reimagined. Also opening this year is their 18+ upcharge attraction Enola. The event will run for 16 nights throughout October and the beginning of November. Tickets for The Scarehouse start £16.00 (+£2.00 booking fee) Tickets for Enola will be sold on a first come first served basis upon arrival. Warwick Castle's After Dark event will be returning this October. The event will run 21st - 31st October 2022. Tickets will start at £21.50. The currently attraction line up hasn't been announced except for the return of The Haunted Hollows. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Warwick Castle After Dark website.


Alton Towers Scarefest is set to return in 2023. The Invitation, Darkest Depths and The Attic are all set to return and be joined by new for 2023 The Altonville Mine Tours Tiny’s Revenge and Daz Games: Panic. A new scare zone in Burial Ground will also be joining the line up. The event will run on the 7th, 8th and 13th – 31st October. Tickets start from £44 (Excluding the maze tickets). Screamfest in Burton Upon Trent have updated their website to confirm that this year the event is going big with 7 attractions. Insomnia, Creed Farm, Hillbilly Joe’s Zombee Zoo, Freakout on Tour and Love Hurt’s – Last Orders will all be returning with 2 new attractions joining the line up in Area 52, an alien shooting tractor trailer ride experience and Pyscho Circus, which looks to be an immersive show(But this is unconfirmed). Stourbridge Scare Maze have announced their dates for 2023. The event will run for 15 nights throughout October from 6th - 31st. Tickets start form £14.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Stourbridge Scare Maze website.


Digbeth in Birmingham is set to open a scare maze. Luna Springs have announced Meltdown. The event will run from the 18th – 31st October. Tickets start from £14.00. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Luna Springs website.


Road to Hell could be making a return in 2023. Their 2022 event was cancelled but their website is teasing a potential return. Although nothing is confirmed it is interesting to see that it could. For more information you can visit the Road to Hell website.


Solihull is set to welcome back the Forbidden Circus in 2023 with part 2. The event will feature additional train cabins. It will run from the 26th October until the 4th November. Tickets are not yet on sale. For more information and to book tickets you can visit the Forbidden Circus website.


The Three Stirrups in Brewood, Staffordshire will be hosting a pop up scare maze this October called Demise. It will run on the 27th and 28th October.
